edit....101

30.11.12

Once babies grow out of the initial baby shower loot, and begin to walk, it’s time to edit their wardrobes from the rainbow of colors that they’ve outgrown. Pastels are lovely, and pink is one of my favorite colors, but narrowing a color palette is a great way to mix and match. Also, a wardrobe full of baby colors makes it more difficult to repurpose clothes later.

Narrow clothes to a palette that you’re comfortable with. I recommend white, grey, black, navy, tan and khaki, and what ever colors are your child’s favorites.
Stripes are a great basic as well, they are timeless and oh so French. White is such a terrific foundation, as it can be worn year round and is bleach-able. Stick to machine washable fabrics.
